THE DEVELOPMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING TECHNOLOGY IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article examines the relevance of the formation of critical thinking among students in the context of the modern expansion of the information space. The author emphasizes that the primary goal of education is not the accumulation of knowledge, but the ability to analyze, comprehend and effectively apply information in the professional field. Critical thinking is characterized as an independent, social and analytical system of judgments based on questions and problems.

The educational technology of developing critical thinking is described in detail, based on the three-phase structure of the lesson: challenge, reflection and reflection. At the challenge stage, existing knowledge is updated, at the comprehension stage, new information is worked on, and reflection provides creative processing of the material. Specific techniques and methods of work are proposed for each stage, including graphic systematization, active reading, discussions and creative tasks. The technology is aimed at developing key skills: communication skills, tolerance, logical thinking, independence and the ability to argue one's position. Attention is also focused on fostering the student's personal qualities, such as flexibility, perseverance and willingness to correct mistakes.

The paper highlights the advantages of this approach, including increasing responsibility for the quality of education, forming one's own opinion and developing systematic logical thinking. The author notes the practical effectiveness of the technology application in the educational process of the Saransk State Industrial and Economic College. It is concluded that the introduction of this technology is necessary to train competitive graduates with the ability to be creative, proactive and make informed decisions in modern real life, which makes it possible to improve the quality of education.
