THE APPLICATION OF THE PROJECT METHOD IN THE ORGANIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES OF OSU UNIVERSITY COLLEGE STUDENTS
Abstract
The article examines the organization of educational practice for students majoring in Computer Systems and Complexes at a university college. Educational practice is considered as an integral part of the secondary vocational education program aimed at consolidating the learning outcomes of the professional module PM.01 “Design of Digital Devices.” It is shown that the main purpose of practice is to acquire initial professional experience and develop practical skills in digital circuit engineering. The project method is regarded as the most effective means of achieving these objectives, as it integrates theoretical training with practical activity through the design and construction of a real digital device. The article describes the main stages of students’ work, including circuit design, logical function minimization, assembly, testing, and final оформление of the device, as well as the preparation of a report and a presentation. Special attention is paid to the conditions necessary for the effective organization of practice, including the coordination of interdisciplinary course content with the practice program, the availability of a modern material and technical base, and the use of specialized design software. The role of the practice supervisor is also considered. Particular emphasis is placed on professional competence, communication skills, and the ability to provide pedagogical guidance. Using the example of teacher A. A. Bukhtoyarova, the article demonstrates the significance of mentoring in the development of students’ professional competencies. It is concluded that the application of the project method in educational practice contributes to the establishment of interdisciplinary links, increases student motivation, and facilitates the formation of устойчивых professional skills.
